Mountain Heritage Festival 5K/10K...

• 10K Run:- Run 6.2 Miles

Please join us on Saturday, September 10 for the inaugural Mountain Heritage Festival 5K & 10K Race. This race will start at the Whitesburg Riverside Park located next to the Whitesburg ARH Hospital just off HWY 15. The race will start at 8:30 am and all participants are encouraged to arrive no later than 8:00 am to ensure everyone is registered and the race can start on time. The course will take place in beautiful downtown Whitesburg where you can enjoy nature’s beauty of the mountains and the Kentucky River as well as historic buildings, churches and one of the town’s newest additions, Kentucky Mist Moonshine. This race will offer two different courses for runners who wish to participate in either the 5K or 10K distance. All runners will be guaranteed a finishers T-shirt and medals will be given to the top three male and female finishers in both races. If you register by August 31 the entry fee will be $20 for the 5K and $25 for the 10K. For those who register on September 1 thru September 10 the fee will increase to $25 for the 5K and $30 for the 10K.
