Providence Marathon & Rhode Races ~ Results

• Kids Run presented by Girls on the Run RI:- Kids Run

The tenth running of the Providence Marathon will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017. This exciting race day in DownCity Providence will host a marathon, half marathon, 5k and kids fun run. 

The Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, May 7 in Downtown Providence, Rhode Island. The Half Marathon will start at 8:00 a.m. from the same location.  The 5k will follow at 8:15 am and the kids race with take off at 8:20 - all from the same great downtown running festival. 

The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.

Team Registration and Fundraising!!!

This year, registrants will be able to create teams and/or fundraise for their favorite charity! It's a great morale builder and fundraiser for all types of companies, organizations, schools or even friends! 

Please Note: Providence Rhode Races will be happening rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason. In the event that weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers will cancel the event with no refunds issued.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

There are no age restriictions but you must show your ID when picking up your bib.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking at the Providence Place Mall is your best option.  It is located within walking distance of the starting line and the cost is reasonable.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Registrations are not transferrable but you can defer your race entry within one year to any race in our race portfolio. Deferral requests must be received before on line registration closes, typically 2 days before race day.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes - you can revisit your account at any time and update your registration information.
