This summer will mark my (D.J. Vincent) eight year serving as a “Lightning Rod” with Salem Leadership Foundation (SLF). With SLF I get to seek the spiritual and social renew of the neighborhoods in SouthSalem. I work daily to start conversations and build collaboration between people of faith and people of good will. I find myself “bridging the gap” between churches, schools, non-profits, and government agencies. The second annual Bridging the Gap 10k will celebrate the finish line of my summer fundraising effort toward $30,000. The run will start at Bush's Pasture Park and weave through South Salem connecting churches, schools, non-profits, and business partners.  If you want to run with me on the day of the event [Saturday, August 20th at 10am] a $50 donation is needed. All runners, volunteers, and donors are invited to a celebration BBQ at Bush's Pasture Park at noon as we finish the race.

If you would like to make your donation before the race, there are two options:

1. Mail-In. Check payable to 'Salem Leadership Foundation' and mail to: SLF, P.O. Box 7384, Salem OR 97303-0083. Please indicate "Bridging the Gap" in the memo line.

2. Online. To use a credit/debit card, go to: www.salemLF.org. Then click on "Make A Donation" at the top of the screen and select "Summer Challenge" and then "I am supporting DJ" in the drop-down list.
