Bark For Life Fido 5K/1 MIle Fun Run

• Fido 5K/ 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk to Benefit the American Cancer Society:- Run 3.1 Miles

This is the 7th annual Bark For Life Ann Arbor event!  Monies raised benefit the American Cancer Society, supporting community outreach, education about prevention and research to prevent and treat cancer.  Participants can run with up to two dogs (on leash).  After the run we have many activities, games and contests for the dogs!!  It's a perfect way to spend a half day in August!!!!

Hudson Mills Metropark is an established destination for 5K and 10K runners.  The majority of the course is paved and shaded, with minimal distance on a chipped path.  Water stations along the course.  Course marshalls to assist along the way.

Hudson Mills Metropark is located west of US 23 on N.Territorial Rd.  Once in the park, proceed south (straight ahead) through the gate ($10 entrance fee or free with yearly Metropark pass) to the Activities Center parking lot.   Head West across the field to the area under the trees for check-in.

Dogs (up to date on vaccinations) on leash are invited to this wonderful event to fight cancer.  After the run/walk, please plan to spend a few hours trying a variety of activities with your dog, including agility, lure chasing, rally, painting.  We will also have many games and contests to participate in.
