For the Double Road Race 15k you first run the 10k leg and then one hour and 45 minutes later the 5k leg starts.Times from the two legs are combined for scoring. For theUjena Double 8k you first run the 5k leg and then one hour 45 minutes later the 3k leg starts. Bring the kids (13 and under) for the Bob Anderson's Kids Cup Double 1.5 Mile(1 mile + 1/2 mile starts 30 minutes later).
Both San Juan Bautista Doubles will start on the historic main street and finish in front of the Mission San Juan Bautista.
The Halftime featuring the recovery zone will be situated in the large grassy area in front of the historic mission where Spanish soldiers and Native Americans camped in the 1800s. Live music will keep us entertained from 7:00am to12pm.
"Double Racing is the only running event with a halftime (photo left). This gives runners a chance to make adjustments and get ready for the seond leg," says Bob Anderson, who created the new sport Double Racing.
"If you are not ready to do the Double 15k, you can run or walk theUjena Double 8k Run/Walk and brings the kids for the Bob Anderson's Kids Cup Double. All kids get a medal, and this all benefits youth running," says Race Director Daniel Lowell.
Bob Anderson's Kids Cup Double 1.5 Mile- (for kids 13 and under) everyone gets a t-shirt, tote bag and all finishers a medal. Trophy for first boy and first girl. Special medal for winner of each age 4-13.

Ujena Double 8k Run/Walk entry fee includes:
Cotton t-shirt, tote bag and a finishers medal. Awards to the top three men and women, age-group medals to the top three per each age-group 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 plus.
Bob Anderson's Kids' Cup Double 1.5 Mile entry fee includes:
Cotton t-shirt, cinch sack bag and a finishers medal. Special medal for the age winner for each age 4 to 13. Trophy for first boy and first girl.
