Apple Festival 5k Road Race...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The 40th Annual Apple Festival 5K Road Race will take place on October 8th.  This race is in conjunction with one of the largest arts and craft festivals in Georgia- the Apple Festival.  Our race starts on the outskirts of town, looping back to the round-about in historic Ellijay and finishes in front of the school.  The course is certified and is relatively flat.  Walkers and baby strollers are welcome.  There will also be a 1 mile fun run and a tot trot after the 5k.  In addition to the race t-shirt, participants will enjoy lots of post-race goodies. This race is part of the Black Bag & Clover Glove race series.  This is truly one of the best races in this area. 

Event details and schedule

Registration for the Apple Festival 5K Road Race starts at 7:00 a.m. in the Ellijay Elementary School gym.  Ample free parking is available at the school.  The 5K starts at 8:00 a.m.  The one mile fun run starts at 8:45.  The tot trot will be held inside the gym after both races are over.  There is no registration fee for the tot trot and one registration fee will cover both the 5k and one mile, if you would like to run both.
