Please join us for the Inaugural Smile Run 5K honoring Christian Egner hosted by The Christian Egner Foundation. Christian passed away in the fall of 2015 from asthma related complications. He was a bright boy, full of joy, laughs and smiles - always a treasure to be around! Proceeds from the race will go directly to the school that Christian attended, Ralph Bunche Preschool. They specialize in special needs and were a valuable influence in the life of Christian and many other children in the Cherokee County area. Through Ralph Bunche, Christian was blessed with well trained teachers, qualified speech therapists, and caring nurses. Christian would come home after preschool and teach us how to sing, dance and most importantly smile as he mirrored his time at preschool with our family. Our hope is that through this event, we will have an opportunity to bless other children and bring years of smiles to their faces.
