The Purple Run...

• 1K Run:- 1K Run

Run through the "City of Homes" while helping women and children find a sanctuary.

When you participate in this 5k road race and 1k fun run, you will help support the Community Welcome House whose mission is to inspire hope and empower survivors of domestic violence.  All of the proceeds from the race will go to this wonderful non-profit.

Enjoy the lush fall landscape and beauty surrounding this historic part of Newnan, GA.

During the post race award celebration, stay for the Health Fair complete with yummy and healthy food vendors, information and helpful resources.  Also, no fair is complete without laughter so there will be plenty for the kiddos to do including the fun attractions at Carl Miller Park.

Waivers and ID:

Must sign waiver and bring a valid ID for adult participation.  An authorized adult must sign waiver for minors.

What to Bring:

A smile and good attitude.  Water, food, money for the post race festivities.

What to Wear:

Don't be naked:)  Seriously, appropriate athlectic attire and shoes recommended.  Also, get in the spirit of the race and wear purple if you feel inspired.
