• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

We hope that you join us in our Run For Ed 5K.  Proceeds will benefit non-profits in Glen Burnie and the surrounding areas!  There are two ways to win for your non-profit.  First, run for a non-profit of your choice and win the non-profit competition award.  Second, when registering, list your non-profit and your non-profit will be placed in the Scholarship Funds drawing.  The more participants running for your non-profit, the greater the chance of winning!

Also, an additional $5.00 donation will go towards Arundel House of Hope, Winter Relief Program.

Event details and schedule

Parking is provided at the church and school campus.  Registration packets will be available the evening before the race between 4 PM and 8 PM, on Friday, October 9.  Registration will resume the morning of Saturday, October 10 at 6:30 AM. Participants who have pre-registered should check in by 7:30 AM, October 10.

Dear 5K Run for ED Participants,

 

Due to a request we received this week from the Special Operations Division of the Ann Arundel County Policy Department we must move the race start time from 9:00 AM to 8:00 AM.  My sincerest apologies for this 1 hour schedule change.  I hope you are able to shake the sleep off and be ready to enjoy a great walk/run at our first annual Run for ED 5K.

 

I can't wait to see you all at the starting line! (Oh, and the finishing line too!)

A flag ceremony to begin our race and Oktoberfest will occur at 7:45 AM.  The 5K race begins at 8 AM followed by the 1K Fun Run immediately after.
