The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation is driven by a passionate belief that we all have a responsibility for each other during the most troublesome times. Our vision is through community outreach and the ethos of The Carolyn E. parker Foundation, the elderly will be supported, the youth will be educated, the hungry will be fed, the unclothed will be covered, and the impoverished will be restored.
This event will be co-sponsored by the Carolyn E. Parker Foundation and Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter, Southern Maryland Office in order to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research in our local community. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions.
The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.
Day Of Race Number Pick-Up: 6:30-7:45am, please bring ID, safety pins will be provided.
Day of Registration: Available from 6:30-7:30am for $30, T-Shirts first come first served for Day of Registrants
Start Time: 8:00am
Distance: 5K road race
Start/Finish Point: Wildewood Lodge Parking Lot
Awards: Overall First, Second, and Third place as well as Age Group First, Second, and Third place awards
Age Groups: 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and Over
Participants: Strollers and pets allowed
T-Shirts: T-Shirts cannot be exchanged for other sizes due to limited quantity ordered.
Restrooms: Available in the Lodge
Refreshments: A water station will be at the half way point, and at the finish line. Fruit and other refreshments will be available at the finish.
