This 3rd annual beach obstacle course is the first of its kind in Margate, NJ.  We are a small family town with big family fun. Our event is a school run event so do not expect all the bells and whistles. Expect kind volunteers, friendly event organizers, and a course built by the Margate Public Works department.  The couse is challenging but doable for all ages. We start all competitive runners in the first few heats and then send recreational runners and families to enjoy the course. We hope you will give it a whirl! 

Event details and schedule

Opening Ceremonies at 8:45am with a Momoent of Silence in memory of 9/11. 

8:15 - Pre-Registration and check in - please make sure all waivers have been signed. You may want to pack a change of clothes and bring a towel. You will get wet and sandy. There are bathrooms available on site at the Bloom Pavillion. 

9:00am - Team heats will go first, next competitive runners, and then recreational runners and family heats. 

11:00 - Awards for Team Events will be presented at BOCCA! 

Dune Dash Specials will be available at BOCCA Coal Fired Grill after the run as well as music, give aways, and all the opening day football games! Stop back and celebrate your accomplishment at BOCCA! Bocca is located at 7805 Ventnor Avenue in Margate.
