Overflowing Hope 5k Race for Water...

Overflowing Hope 5k Race for Water takes place in the quaint town of Forest Grove, Oregon. The race starts in town and then goes out to the lovely B street trail. The family-friendly trail is great for those with strollers, or those who would just rather stroll than run! You can spend a morning enjoying nature and raising funds for a great cause!

What is the cause, you might ask? Clean water! Why clean water? Because clean water can be the difference between life and death.

663 million people live without access to clean water—that’s approximately 1 in 10 people worldwide. Without clean water sickness plagues communities, economies suffer, and children don’t go to school. This race is dedicated to helping the people of the Zacapa Guatemala area, acquire access to clean drinking water by raising funds to for community wells.

Funds raised benefit the Christian humanitarian organization World Help. World Help was established in 1991, with a mission to provide help for today and hope for tomorrow. Since the beginning of the organization they have helped drill over 600 clean water wells.

Overflowing Hope 5k Race for Water

Date: September 10, 2016.

Location: The race begins and ends at His Church, located at 1719 Cedar St, Forest Grove, OR 97116.

Start: The race begins 8:00 a.m. Please allow yourself time to park and get the the starting line! 

Parking: Will be available at the church and there will be street parking in the neighborhood. If street parking please park properly and be courtious to the neighbors.

Registration: We'd love for you to register now, however race day registration will be available begining at 7:00a at the table labeled "registration/check-in." Pre-Registration is $25.00, race day registration will be $30.00.

Running is not required, if you'd like to walk, or stroll, please feel free! Have fun and enjoy the race!
