Corner Cupboard Food Bank is pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Race to End Hunger will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at the Pennsylvania Army National Guard Readiness Center (Armory), located at 500 Evergreene Drive, in Waynesburg.

Packet pickup and registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. The Race will feature a competitive 5K Run/Walk Course and a 2.5K Family-Fun Fitness Walk. A variety of vendors will also be set up onsite to provide information and products supporting health and wellness in Greene County.

Proceeds of the Race to End Hunger fundraiser will go to support the mission and operations of the Corner Cupboard Food Bank.

Corner Cupboard has been a community effort of neighbors helping neighbors in Greene County for over 20 years. Each month we help over 2,000 neighbors who are facing hunger and food insecurity. Our goal is to eliminate hunger in Greene County by providing nutritious food to supplement monthly cupboards while also raising awareness and educating the public on the problems of and solutions to hunger.
