• 1 Mile Run:- Run 1 Mile
• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

As host sponsor, the Truckee Tahoe Airport invites our community of athletes to a new running event, Truckee’s first ever Run The Runway, a 5K run, or an "almost one mile" run held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 with a 9:00 start. This unique run will allow participants to enjoy the beauty of an autumn morning surrounded by Martis Valley’s mountain peaks while running on Truckee Airport’s actual runway at 5,900 feet elevation. Of course, the Truckee Tahoe Airport will have the runway closed to air traffic during the run. The Truckee High School Marching Band will entertain runners on the one mile course.

If you are under 18 please download and print a waiver (on the event website) before the race and have your parents sign it.  You must have it signed by a parent or gurdian to race.

8:30- Day of Registration closes for the 5k

8:45- Bib pick up ends for 5k

9:00- 5k starts, day of reg closes for the 3/4 mile

9:15- Bib pick up ends for the 3/4 Mile

9:30-3/4 mile race starts
