Join us for DASH of HOPE our 5th 5K Run/Walk Peachtree qualifier and Kids Fun Run.

All proceeds benefit children around the world through three of our Mission Partners:  

• The United Methodist Children's Home of Georgia
• Zion's Children's Home (Bahamas)
• Living Hope Uganda Orphanage (Uganda)

Event details and schedule

Course Description/location:  

The 5K will start and end on site (see map in photo gallery) and is a paved winding, tree-lined route with rolling hills.  This course is well marked, with water stations along the course, and supervised by police officers. The race will be Chip Timed.  Costumes are welcome and will be judged.

 The Kids Fun Run is suited for children ages 5-12.  It will be located on site.  The course will be timed. 

Race day schedule (10/10/2015):

7:00 am-8:00 am     :  Race number pickup for 5K and KFR if pre-                                                 registered.  Walk up race entry/race number.  

 8:30  am                  : 5K race begins, there will be warm ups prior to race

 9:00am                    :  Live Music Begins

 9:30 am                   :  Kids Fun Run begins.

 9:45 am                    :  Awards Ceremony 

Registration Fees/Shirt:

5K Race-Individual $30 till 10/5, $35 day of race, Groups of 4 or more $25 till 10/5, $30 day of race.  Must be 18 yrs or older to be a team captain.  A long-sleeved micro fiber shirt guaranteed to those who register by 9/30/2016.

Kids Fun Run $15 till 10/5, $20 day of race.  A short-sleeved cotton shirt guaranteed to those register by 09/30/16.

Awards:

5K Race-Awards to overall male/female and top three male/female in standard age groups (10 and under through 70) at five year intervals.

Kids Fun Run-All participants receive a medallion.

Other judging includes-team with the most participants, funniest costume, most original, most colorful, team with most family members (more to come).

Goodie bags with shirt given out after race.

Free Childcare from 8:00a.m.-10:00a.m. for ages 0-10 for those running/walking the 5K.  Guaranteed for those registering by 9/30/2016. Please email [email protected] for reservations and information.  

Other:

Walkers and runners of all ages are invited to do 5K. 

Adult with Baby Stroller is welcome to race the 5K.

No pets except service dogs.

We do not provide gear check.
