The Couch to 5K program is ideal for anyone who would like to start running in a safe and effective way. Walkers are also welcome as the program will help you to improve your fitness by increasing your pace and distance. In 8 weeks you will have the opportunity to complete a 5K, 3.1 miles, if you choose. There will be presentations on topics such as nutrition, footwear, clothing and more. Both runners-to-be and walkers will find this group to be challenging yet fun and supportive. 5K registration fee is not included. Tuesday Night will be in Wilson Park 6:0pm-6:45pm and Saturday will be in the Community House 8:30-l9:15am.
