Aiken County Sheriff's Office 2nd Annual Jailbreak...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Be part of the 2nd Annual Aiken County Sheriff's Office Jailbreak 5K that takes place on a scenic, point to point course along the northern shore of Langley Pond.  It starts with you entering into a cluster of trees and wildlife.  The trail consists of numerous curves, hills, and various terrain.  The final half mile is a down hill slope with a DJ motivating you to cross the finish line.  All proceeds will benefit the The Aiken-Augusta Warrior Project, a local 501 (3) c non-profit that connects Warriors and Family Members with resources that improve their quality of life. No other program currently does what AWP is doing for Warriors in the greater Augusta area of Georgia and South Carolina (CSRA) and Aiken, SC.  AWP is the go-to organization in our community for Veterans, and our advocates serve 17 counties in the Central Savannah River Area and assist with housing, education, benefits, employment and everything else in between. AWP takes a leadership role to help educate the community and draw together agencies to create a holistic plan that reduces red tape, eliminates duplication of efforts, and effectively focuses on results in our community.”

Race Day is Oct. 15, 2016.  Registration will  begin at 7am and the race will start at 8 am.
