Chattanooga Oktoberfest 5k...

The Annual Oktoberfest 5K Run is an exciting race held in conjunction with Chattanooga Oktoberfest.  Festive Oktoberfest costume is encouraged; prizes will be awarded! Enjoy festive "get your heart pumping" music, costume contest (grab your leiderhosen PROST!) and cold beer at the finish - it's never too early to partake in Oktoberfest traditions!

This festive 5k will begin at Chattanooga Oktoberfest/First Tennessee Pavilion. The course will follow Riverfront Parkway to Molly Street; turn around and follow the same course back to the finish line - at the Chattanooga Oktoberfest entrance.

Race partiicpants will enjoy the festive spirit of the after-party at Chattanooga Oktoberfest with live oompah music, Oktoberfest inspired foods and over 99 seasonal and local beers. Admission to Chattanoga Oktoberfest is FREE. www.ChattanoogaOktoberfest.com

Award ceremony including costume prizes to begin after all runners are finished.

Standout Awards: Overall Male & Female (1st place only), Overall Masters (40+), Overall Grand Masters (50+)

Awards will be given to the 1st place in each age group male and female. 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Overall winners are not eligible for multiple overall awards or age group awards.
