Join us for the third annual GC Gauntlet obstacle 5k event! This event is the ultimate test of courage and strength. Push your physical limits with 3.1 miles in and along the Arkansas River bed while jumping, climbing, crawling, and of course, running through a variety of obstacles! Finish strong after battling through the final obstacle, the Mud Pit! All finishers recieve a finishers medal.

This is one of the toughest 5k's in Western Kansas, and you don't want to miss it! The Gauntlet is held in conjucntion with the Southwest Riverless Festival. Come for the race, and stick around for a concert, car show and much, much more!

Youth Mini Gauntlet will start at the completion of the Gauntlet at roughly 3:15pm-3:30pm. 

Event details and schedule

Registration will begin at 12:00pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your designated start time. Waves will leave the start line at 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, and 2:30pm. Awards presented promptly upon the completion of the event. In the event of inclement weather, there may be up to a two hour weather delay.

This will be a dirty, muddy event. Old sneakers and clothes you do not mind getting muddy are recommended.

There will be a key check available at the registration tent.
