The Be Brave For Life Hike-A-Thon is a hike to inform, support, and improve the lives of individuals affected by benign brain tumors and drive research for a cure.  Start a team, join an existing team or join as an individual.  Set a hiking goal - between one and four hours - and get sponsors to support your efforts. This year we have no minimum fundraising requirement, however we ask that each participate set a fundraising goal of at least $250.  The goal of the Be Brave For Life Hike-A-Thon is to support cutting-edge research leading to prevention, early detection and, ultimately, a cure for benign brain tumors. The more money that we raise, the bigger the impact we’re able to make toward making a real difference in the lives of individuals suffering with brain tumors and the neurological consequences of their removal. Last year's Hike-A-Thon enabled us to donate directly to two cutting edge research efforts ~ one at Barrow Neurological Foundation in Pheonix and one at Boston Children's Hospital.  As you join in this effort, as you raise funds to create awareness around benign brain tumors, as you hike further than you ever thought you could - you will discover the power that comes from being brave!
