On Sunday, October 23rd, 2016, The Wellington Runners Club, a 501(c3) charity, presents the 12th Annual Wellington 10 Miler, Sebastian's 5k Walk/Run and Kids Fun Run to benefit the Kid's Cancer Foundation. 

The Wellington 10 Miler is designed to be the perfect fall tune up race for those training for fall half and full marathons. A new 10 Miler course this year begins at Tiger Shark Cove Park and runs through the Village of Wellington's beautiful and scenic Wellington Environmental Preserve at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Everglades Habitat located on Flying Cow Road. The run is a combination of paved path, shell rock road and boardwalks through the wetland habitat.

For those running the 5k, come set your fall PR on our flat, fast course. The 5k Walk and a free kid's fun run after the race makes this a great family event.

Race proceeds benefit the Kids Cancer Foundation.
