5K Ghost Run is a chip timed run through picturest downtown Bradenton and up and back along the beautiful River Walkway. Strollers with little ghosts are welcomed. Notice: No Ghost Busters allowed. Five minutes after the 5K Ghost start the 5K Ghost run with doggies will travel the same course (note none reractable leashes please). There are two Doggie Watering holes (Dogs should have proper ID). Doggie top winners receve cutom engraved plaques with their doggie names engraved. One mile fitness walk up and back the river front. The Poker Walk allows participants to visit the multiple of pubs on Old Main Street for a reduced price drink and receive a playing card at each pub. Great prizes for winning hands. Kids Dashes in four heats, 3to4 yrs run 100 meters; 5to6 run 200 meters; 7to9 run 400 meters; 10 to 12 run 800 meters. All children recieve finishers medals and tropies to top finshers. Children under 12 who are registered for the 5K can run in the Kid's dashes for free. Great after party with food from local resturants and adult beverages with proper ID. Also a great costume contest for Kid's, Doggies, and Adults

4:00 p.m. Kid's Monsgter Dashes 3-4 yrs; 5-6 yrs; 7-9 yrs; 10-12 yrs

5:00n p.m. 5K Ghost Run

5:05 p.m. 5K Ghost Run with Doggies (2) Doggies watering holes on the course

5:10 p.m. One Mile Fitness Walk (no ghosts allowed per the authorities)

5:10 p.m. Poker Walk

6:00 p.m. Awards and After Party with adult beverages with proper ID

Event details and schedule

Plenty of free parking. Early packet pick up at Fit2Run race headquarters, UTC next to Dillards.  Wednesday October 19 and Thursday  October 20 store hours. Race day packet pick and registration commences on Main Street from 3:30 p.m. till race start.

The Mission of the Robinson Hearts and Minds Foundation is to continue the work that Brent and Julia Robinson had begun to positively impact the lives of children and high school students and provides assistance to children with autism and their families as well as scholarships to aspiring engineers.
