• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Dead Run 5K is an apocalyptic survival experience. You're not racing against a clock. You're running for your life through woods filled with starving zombies lurking around every corner! Can you survive?

BASIC SURVIVAL

Before the race, you will be given a flag belt with three flags. These flags represent your life. The zombies want to take your flags and maybe devour you.

 
WHAT YOU’RE UP AGAINST:

The woods are filled with zombies. They will chase you and try to eat you — but mainly go after your life flags. Avoid the zombies to keep your flags and stay alive!
Use speed, strategy and your delicious brains to make it to the FINISH LINE “alive” with at least ONE FLAG INTACT. If you finish with zero flags, the zombies have infected you.

HOW YOU’LL DO IT:

There is only one route through the woods and obstacles that are heavily infested with the infected dead. You have to find your way through the terror that lies between you and the finish line to survive.

Check In and Late Registration will be 7:30-8:30am

First wave of victims released at 9:00am

Race Course circles Lake 3 at Hardee Lakes Park

Parking will be provided and park gate fees will be waived.

Camping available through Hardee Lakes Park website. Stay the weekend!

Bring photo ID and registration confirmation.

Wear clothing that can get messy...there will be blood.

Family friendly event. Registrants 8 and older welcome. (If things get too scary, there will be an alternate route for young runners.)

Refreshments available for purchase afterward at the Apocalypse Party!
