6th ANNUAL PROMISE TO RUN 5K, 10K and FUN RUN...

• 10K Run:- Run 6.2 Miles
• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 1 Mile Fun Run:- Fun Run

Join us at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA for the 6th Annual Promise To Run 5K, 10K and Fun Run benefiting Family Promise Hall County. Bring the whole family to walk, jog or run.  Strollers and wheel-chairs are welcome. The 5K is a single loop on paved roads, the 10K is a double loop of the 5K.  The Fun Run is one mile and all ages friendly.

Peachtree Qualifier:

Both the 5K and 10K are USATF Certified and can be used as Peachtree Road Race Qualifiers.  5K GA12069WC, 10K GA12070WC.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 1PM

Fun Run: Starts at 2:15PM

5K and 10K: Both start at 3PM

Proceeds: 

Proceeds from the race will benefit Family Promise of Hall County, dedicated to helping homeless children and their families.  Please consider making an additional donation or becoming a Promise to Run Fundraiser.  More information is available at www.familypromisehall.org.

Awards:

Awards will be presented in each race to the Overall Male/Female and Masters Male/Female. Age group awards will be given 3 deep in 10 year age groups from 10 and under to 70 and over.

Timing and Results:

Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com www.athlinks.com and www.coolrunning.com.

Shirts and Goodies:

Shirts will be guaranteed to those who register by 10/7/16. Those who register after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The races are part of the 2016 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
