About This Activity

Thank you for your interest in the 5k Miles for Missions and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run! All race proceeds will benefit the International Mission Team of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church.  We will be going to Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Ecuador.   This year we are pleased to have expanded to have a family fun day including vendors, live music, bounce houses and more!!  We would like to invite you to be a part of this worthy fundraising opportunity.

The funds raised during this event will be used  to feed local children, participate in construction projects, transportation, shoes and materials for students for school.

Event details and schedule

Race Times: 

1 mile Kids' Run - 9:00 a.m.

5K - 9:30 a.m.

Race Course:

The race will be timed and will be at Liberty Park in Grovetown. The surface is mostly flat with some hills.  The course will be around the park and the surrounding subdivision.

Packet Pick Up:

Early Packet Pick up will be Friday, October 21 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Lobby of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church located at 5555 Hereford Farm Road, Evans, GA 30809 or race morning from 8:00-9:15 a.m.

On-Site Registration:

Day-of registration will be available at the race site for $30.00 per person for 5k runners and $10.00 per entry in the Kids' Fun Run. On the day of the race, only cash or check will be accepted as methods of payment. On-site registrants will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Race Shirt Guarantee:

All entries received prior to  October 14th will be guaranteed a race shirt. Entries received on or after October 14th will not be guaranteed a shirt or the exact size requested.

Awards:

Male and Female overall winners will be awarded prizes.
