The Running Dead Zombie 5k Challenge!...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

What better way to celebrate a fantastic New England autumn then to run a 5K in spooky Salem Massachusetts while being pursued by Zombies? The Running Dead Zombie 5K gives the runner the experience of a road race mixed with the fantasy of live action role play. Each runner is given a flag belt. The goal of the runner is to complete 4 laps through the park with at least one flag remaining. The goal of the Zombie actor is to capture as many of the runners flags as possible.  Be prepared for steep hills, trails, playing fields, gravel roads and some of the scariest Zombies that you have ever seen in your entire life! This year, proceeds will be donated to The Salem Feline Hospital and The Salem Dog Park.

Event details and schedule

Race Starts at 4:30pm. Rain or Shine.

Runners should arrive by 3pm for packet pick up and flag belt assignment. "Day Of" registrants should arrive by 2:30. Please bring ID (Drivers License, State Issued ID or Passport).

Parking is permitted in the Gallows Hill Park parking lot as well as the streets abutting the park.

Participants should bring weather appropriate clothing as this is a "rain or shine" event.
