Rock Hard Marathon...

The Rock Hard Marathon is for experienced endurance trail runners willing to endure a technical course dominated by mountain bikers and with only two feed zones as far as 8 miles apart. This one-lap course has been called the "Hardest in New England" because of its technical features.

The Course

The Rock Hard Marathon 26.2 mile course is mostly technical rocky singletrack (like, ankle turning/career ending rocky) and some fire roads. There is very little pavement, but there is some in unavoidable areas. This is not a lap course but you will start and finish in the same area. All runners must yield to mountain bike racers at all times. There are 2 well stocked Feed Zones on course.

There are no age categories. The field is way too small for that.
Instead we're breaking it down quite simply:
MEN 1ST PLACE: $100 & Something Cool
MEN 2ND PLACE: $50 & Something Cool
MEN 3RD PLACE: $25 & Something Cool
WOMEN 1ST PLACE: $100 & Something Cool
WOMEN 2ND PLACE: $50 & Something Cool
WOMEN 3RD PLACE: $25 & Something Cool.
