• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

As a lifelong student and educator, Douglas Dame valued the importance of lifelong learning. He took advantage of programs offered through Miriam Hospital to further his own knowledge of orthopedic and surgical care. He was an incredible preceptor to new scrub techs who joined the Miriam team and a valuable colleague to all who had the opportunity to work with him. In Doug’s memory and honor, I , Tracy Dame, have established an education fund for members of the Orthopedic Surgical team at the Miriam Hospital. The proceeds from this Fun Run will go towards the education fund to help others take advantage of such opportunities that Doug had the pleasure of participating in.
