Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt (formally Spooky Sprint) 5K Run/Walk is a fun, family-friendly event that will take place along the beautiful North Augusta Greenway. Winners for the different age groups will receive artisan-made medallions. Halloween costumes are encouraged and artisan-made prizes will be given for the best individual and best group (2 or more).

Dogs are allowed on the course, but they must be people-friendly and on a leash.

All proceeds benefit the Arts and Heritage Center of North Augusta.

Stick around after the race for North Augusta's annual fall festival, Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee.  

Event details and schedule

This is a chip-timed event and will be managed by a USA Track & Field Certified Official.

The race will start at 8:30 am for runners with walkers to follow and will be along the Greenway and parts of the Brick Pond Park.  Materials and numbers will be available the day of the race beginning at 7:30 am, at the Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta(located inside the North Augusta Municipal Building). Onsite registartion will be available.

For parents wanting to participate, we are offering a "Kids Fun Zone" at the finish line. Child-sitting services will be handled by members of our very own North Augusta High School cheerleading squad.

Parking will be available at the Muncipal Building as well as the lot across the street from the Arts & Hertitage Center.  

The award ceremony will be held immediately following the completion of the race inside the Arts & Heritage Center.  Refreshments and physical therapy services will also be available.
