Anchoring Deep for Nicole 5K & 1 mile fun run...

This event will raise money to provide financial assistance to Nicole Sugg and her family as she undergoes multiple chemotherapy treatments to fight mediastinal, large B cell, Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  This type of cancer is curable with extensive treatment.  Nicole has a specific form that is very aggressive and has created a mass in her chest that has extended to her pulmonary artery and clavicle (collar bone).  Due to it’s location she is not a candidate for removal.

 Nicole (Winstead) Sugg of McEwen is 34 years old and is married to Robert Sugg of Erin.  They have a beautiful baby boy, Davis.  Nicole’s mother and father are Mary and Mack Winstead of McEwen.  She has 1 sister Stephanie married to Corey Tomlinson of Erin.  Nicole is well known in the county as a former McEwen High School cheerleading coach.  She attends the Waverly Church of the Nazarene and is an avid Christian. She currently works at Farm Credit in Dickson. Nicole enjoys rabbit hunting with her dad, family game night and UT football.

Event details and schedule

Registration & shirt pickup will begin at 7:00 a.m.  

The 5K course has rolling hills and flat road. 

Kick off will begin at 8:00 with the 1 mile fun run.  The 5K will begin at 8:30.  Awards will be handed out at 9:45.

Waiver forms must be signed by all participants at the event.
