On Tuesday August 2nd, 2016, Elle Bolton, a local mom/wife/sister and friend suffered a brain aneurysm which caused a stroke and resulted in loss of motor function and sensation on the left side of her body.
After several days in ICU she has moved to a regular room at Los Robles Hospital. Since then she has been discharged to an inpatient stroke rehab facility locally. Her neurologist said her prognosis is good since the stroke was caught so early. The plan will be for her to be at the stroke rehab facility for 2 - 4 weeks.
After that she will be released to come back home and resume regular physical therapy as needed. But during this time her and her family are in great need and it is our job as a community to help them.
So on Saturday, September 24, 2016 we will host a 5k run/walk in their honor at Newbury Park High School in which all proceeds go directly to the Bolton family.
Thank you to everyone for the prayers, love and support and we hope to see you out there September 24th! For further information please contact: Derek Marquis or Danielle "Missy" Marquis [email protected] 805-376-8249
