Birch Family Services serves individuals and families living with autism and other developmental disabilities.  This event recognizes the abilities of individuals with special needs and raises funds for their critical education and enrichment.

The route will be a flat, out and back course. You will remain on the running/walking path or on the sidewalk for the duration of the race. Birch 5k volunteers will be stationed along the route to guide you as well as Birch signs. You will run north from Pier 64, continue along the running/walking path until you reach the turnaround point and water stations at West 54th Street. You will then return south along the running/walking path and circle around Pier 64 before crossing over the finish line.

The registration and start and finish line are located at Pier 64 at West 24th Street and the Hudson River. There will be balloons and signs indicating the check-in location. Parking can be found nearby at Pier 60. The closest Subway stop is the 23rd Street C and E stop and the M23 Bus stops at Pier 60, a short walk from the race.
