The Florida Panthers are holding a 5K race in conjunction with Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center to support the NHL’s Hockey Fights Cancer initiatives. A portion of all race registrations will be given to the Florida Panthers Foundation. The 5K race will begin at 8:00 AM with race packet pick-up on site starting at 7:00 AM. The family fun run/walk will begin at 8:45 AM. All registered racers will receive 1 ticket to either the Florida Panthers vs. Colorado Avalanche game on October 22, 2016, with puck drop at 7:00 PM or the Florida Panthers vs. New Jersey Devils game on November 3, 2016, with puck drop at 7:30 PM. Each racer will also receive a special Viktor E. Dash T-Shirt and custom finishers medal, with the top 3 in each age group receiving special recognition.

If you are interested in participating in this event, but cannot make it on October 22^nd a Virtual Running option will be available. All virtual runners commit to running a 5K on their own schedule and will receive a race goodie bag via mail. Game tickets for virtual runners will be available for pick-up at Will Call on the day of the game.

Registration: Registration will open on August 31^st via Active.com. Early Bird registration for the 5K will be $37 and will run August 31^st until September 15^th. After this, all pre-registration will be $42. Day of Registration will be $47.

-          A ticket to the October 22nd game vs. Colorado Avalanche at 7:00 pm , or November 3rd game vs. New Jersey Devils at 7:30 pm*

Race Day Schedule:

6 am – Parking lots open

7 am – Packet Pick-up Begins on Jet Blue Tarmac

8 am – 5K begins

8:45 am – Family Fun Run/Walk begins

Packet Pick-Up:

Packet Pick-up will begin at 7 am on the day of the race. Additional packet pick-ups may be added.

Parking:

Parking will be available at the BB&T Center at no cost for the race. All vehicles must be moved by noon to prepare for the Panthers Hockey game that evening.

REFUND POLICY:

There are no refunds, transfers or credits for this race. This event will be held rain, shine or snow.

Registrants cannot change race event once they have completed registration.
