Description
Bring your running shoes and your four-legged running partner to the 4th annual Race to Rescue BDCHS 5K & 1-Mile Dog Jog on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Earle May Boat Basin in Bainbridge. Georgia to benefit the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society (BDCHS). Registration at 8AM. Races at 9AM. Vaccinated, leashed canine companions welcome on the 1 Mile Dog Jog only.
Event details and schedule
Registration: Pre-registration is $25 per person before October 14 (guaranteed shirt size). Race-day registration is $30.
Course Description: Flat, paved, shaded trail.
Awards: 5K: Overall Male & Female (trophies). 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in each Age/Gender Category (medals). 1-Mile is not timed and all participants receive ribbon.
*Canine Participants: All dogs must be non-aggressive, current on vaccines, collared with ID tags, and must be on a 4’ or 6’ leash (NO retractable leashes allowed on race course). Dogs allowed in 1 Mile Dog Jog ONLY.
