IN THE CUT 5K– Fun Run/Walk

We cordially invite you to participate as a runner or volunteer in the 3^rd Annual ‘In the Cut  5K Fun Run.’ Presented by Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Nu Omega Chapter Detroit and Str8 Smokin Track Club a program of the Global Education & Athletics Foundation.

This event will raise money and awareness to help the American Heart Association in its charge to foster appropriate cardiac care in an effort to reduce disability and deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke. As well further the mission of both Omega Psi Phi and the Global Education & Athletics Foundation.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the city of Detroit, at the Dequindre Cut Greenway. The event will kick off at 7:00 a.m. The 5k Run/Walk will start at 8:00 a.m. Awards will be given for the top finishers, in age groups as defined.
