The 2016 Krispy Kreme Glaze Kraze 6K is in it's 3rd running and will be the event of the year! Starting at Jacksonville High School the route will wrap through residential areas before spilling out close to Western Boulevard. You will quickly see your half-way destination point - the glow of the red Hot Now Krispy Kreme sign. Participants will fill the Krispy Kreme parking lot in their quest to eat a dozen donuts before heading back to Jacksonville High School and the finish line!

Runners can choose to participate as a Challenger or as a Fun Run Participant. Challengers will be required to eat the dozen doughnuts and finish the course in under an hour to qualify for the Top 3 Male and Female Finisher Awards, as well as, receiving a sweet prize for completing the Challenge. Fun Run Participants do NOT have to eat the dozen doughnuts and can take their time completing the course. Fun Run Participants are not timed for the event. Youth 10 & Under are only allowed to participate as Fun Run Participant. All participants, excluding youth 10 & under, will receive an event performance shirt for participating. All participants will receive a finisher medal.  

The event will be taking place on Halloween weekend so get festive and dress up for the occasion! We are encouraging everyone to come dressed in their best costume as we will also be hosting a costume contest. 

Registration closes on Friday, October 21st at Midnight. There will be no day of registration because Krispy Kreme needs a week to prepare the doughnuts for the event.

Event details and schedule

Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, October 28th at the Commerce Center from 4 - 8 PM. The Commerce Center is located at 1099 Gum Branch Rd., Jacksonville, NC 28540.

Day of Race Packet pick-up will be held on Saturday, October 31st at Jacksonville High School Track from 6:30-7:30 AM. The race will start promptly at 8 AM for all Competitors and 8:10 AM for all other Fun Run participants. Awards will begin after the race is completed. 

Parking is available at Jacksonville High School or at the shopping center across the road on Henderson Dr.
