Exeter Hospital's Trick or Treat Trot 5K and Creepy Crawler Fun Run is fun, festive and family-friendly!  Get in the Halloween spirit and join us for a morning of fun and fitness to support patients in need at Exeter Hospital's Center for Cancer Care.  Course is great for all ages and skill levels. 

Halloween Costumes Encouraged!

Proceeds from this community event will benefit The Beyond the Rainbow Fund at Exeter Hospital; a fund providing financial assistance and support to local cancer patients in need. Click here to learn more about the Fund.

Cost:

5K Mile Race/Walk -

Individual (Ages 19 and Over): 

  $25 - through 9/30 

  $30 - 10/1 through 10/28 

  $35 - event day 

Student Rate (Ages 18 and Under):   

  $20 - through 10/28

 $25 - event day

* "Trot" 5K Run/Walk participants register by 9/30 and receive a race t-shirt.  (Additional t-shirts available for purchase event day while supplies last.)

 Creepy Crawler Fun Run (Ages 10 & under) - 

  $5 - through 9/30 

  $8 - 10/1 through 10/28

   $10 - event day

The Creepy Crawler Fun Run is a short distance, non-competitive fun run.  Registered Fun Run participants will receive a Halloween treat bag.

The Trick or Treat Trot 5K is part of Exeter Hospital's United in Wellness Road Race Series  and Loco Running's Will Run for Food Race Series.

Event Day Registration and Bib Pick-up -   7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.*

*Fun Run registration & bib pick-up open until 10:00 a.m.

 *Trot participants will gather at the Exeter Healthcare Building and walk up to the start (on Alumni Drive by Rite-Aid) at approximately 8:50 a.m.

5K Race/Walk Start - 9:00 a.m.

5K awards will be given following the "Trot" at approximately 10:00 a.m. 

Fun Run Start - approximately 10:30 a.m.  (Warm-up begins at 10:15 a.m.)

Join Taylor Chase, BS, CSCS, performance specialist, Athletic Performance Center of Exeter Hospital at 10:15 a.m. for a children's warm-up before the Fun Run.

Event Includes:

First Place Prizes awarded to "Trot" Division Winners in the following age groups: 13 & under, 14 - 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ , as well as 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Overall Male and Female Race Winners.

Awards for Best Costume in both "Trot" and Fun Run categories.

Enjoy post race snacks, face painting, Halloween gift bags for Creepy Crawler Fun Run participants and more!

Fundraising Opportunities:

Please consider making an additional donation or fundraising in support of our neighbors in need who are undergoing cancer treatment. It can make a world of difference as they face what could be the fight of their life.

Awards will be given to the top 3 individual fundraisers (must raise a minimum of $100 to be eligible).

  1st place:  $100 gift card

  2nd place:  $75 gift cards

  3rd place:  $50 gift card

Donations must be received no later than November 2, 2016 to count towards your total fundraising amount. Winners will be notified during the week of November 7, 2016.

Parking:

Parking is available at the Exeter Hospital parking garage, as well as in the employee parking lot on Alumni Drive across from the Center for Orthopedics and Movement.  Please allow enough time for parking.  Race begins promptly at 9 a.m.

Cancellation Policy:

This event will be held rain or shine.  Should the event need to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, refunds will not be given.  Your registration fee will be used as a donation to The Beyond the Rainbow Fund at Exeter Hospital.
