Come on out for a run/walk on a great trail with gorgeous views, for a worthwhile cause! 

Fun for the ENTIRE family with costume contests, fitness competition, nature activity booths by Park Rangers, vendors, Chinese auction, and terrific food. Not to be missed!

This year we are limiting registrations to 300 participants. Do register early to guarantee your spot at the Start Line this year. All runners receive a race tee and hot meal, plus free entry to costume and fitness contests.

There will be NO race day registration for runners BUT race day registration will be available for Walkers/Hikers ONLY. Race day registration for walkers is $10, with hot meal included but no timing service or race tee.

Supporters WELCOME and Halloween costumes encouraged!

Public can purchase event bracelet for food and contest participation ($10 for adults, $5 for kids 3-12). Thank you for your support! 

THE RUN AND WALK 

Race Packet: Contains race tee, race bib (affix to front of shirt), and event wristband (for food and contest entries).

Race Route: The race route passes through old growth forest, open meadows, streams and ponds, up a ridgeline with spectacular views of the Allegheny River. Trail conditions are excellent thanks to hundreds of volunteer hours put into readying the trails for you!

Aid Stations: There will be one aid station at 2.5 km (soccer field), and a second aid station at 7.5 km (power station), with water, Gatorade, bananas and treats!

Medical: Eight Park Rangers are on duty as wilderness first responders along the race route. Please see a Ranger if you have any medical concerns during the race.

Prize Categories: Medals will be awarded to 5k and 10k race participants (Male and Female) in categories: Top 3 Overall, Top 3 Age Groupers: <10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ years old
