Help raise funds for the first ever Rio Grande Valley-based emergency shelter for victims of human trafficking! Come out for an evening race to remember the time when most victims of human trafficking are expected to begin their work day, and be a part of the prevention and solution to this ever-growing modern day slavery.
Tamar’s Tapestry is a faith-based nonprofit organization that was formed to work with victims of sex trafficking. Strategically located in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) of deep South Texas on the Mexican border, Tamar’s Tapestry has the potential to identify these victims BEFORE being sold into the lurid sex trafficking industry in the United States and to provide emergency shelter and job retraining once victims are rescued.
NO PACKET PICKUP PRIOR TO RACE DAY!
Parking available on site. The event will be held on the track with packet pickup on site.
RACE BEGINS AT 9:00 PM CST.
