Description
The 10th Annual Jamba BananaMan 5K Chase gives participants a chance to
chase life size bananas around the beautiful Ala Moana Beach Park and
Magic Island. Hawaiis wackiest race seeks 1,200 runners for the 5K and
200 kids (ages 13 and under) for the Keiki Fun Run around Magic
Island. Have fun in the sun AND help raise money for MDA Hawaii and
Hawaii Speed and Quickness.
FUNDRAISER1This event is a fundraiser for
MDA Hawaii and Hawaii Speed & Quickness. The goal this year is to
raise $50,000 for these great causes!Prizes2The first 3 male &
female participants overall and in the following age categories win a
Year of Jamba Juice (valued at $117): 12 & under, 13-15,16-19,
20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59,60-69, and 70+. The race benefits both the
Muscular Dystrophy Association of Hawaii and/or Hawaii Speed and
Quickness. 5K entry fee includes a Jamba Banana event shirt and a Jamba
coupon for a free smoothie. Keiki Fun Run fee includes an event shirt

will be parking restrictions inside Ala Moana Park, especially on the
Diamond Head end. Please plan ahead and allow for adequate time to get

Hawaii Speed & Quickness Drills, Balloon Animals, Keiki

diseases that affect both children and adults alike.
Approximately 75% of the funds raised directly affect
their clients by providing free clinics and support group
sessions, allowing clients to attend summer camps,
funding innovative research and supplying clients with
equipment purchases and repair.About Speed & Quickness10Hawaii Speed
& Quickness (HSQ) is a skills training
program designed to teach aspiring athletes to become
faster, quicker, jump higher and excel in all sports.
Founded by Rich Miano, UH Football coach and former
NFL player, HSQ offers state of the art speed and agility conditioning
training for kids ages 7 and up. Sessions are available for $10 at the
University of Hawaii and the schedule is available at
hawaiispeedandquickness.com.
