El Mirage Salute to Veterans 5K
- 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles
_ 2016 El Mirage Salute to Veterans 5K:
El Mirage Salute to Veterans 5K is the kickoff event to our El Mirage Salute to Veteran event held at Gateway park on November 5, 2016. The run if FREE but we do ask for a donation to be given, on site , to one of the veteran charities represented. Every runner (age 5 and older) will receive an event t-shirt. There are no other awards.
The race will be followed by the El Mirage Firefighters pancake breakfast. The Vietnam travleing Wall will be open for viewing.

Loop course going down El Mirage Road, through Basin park, and returning to Gateway Park. Course is flat on city streets.

Stay for our Salute to Veterans event with the Vietnam Travleing Wall open for viewing, free childrens rides and activities, bands, entertainment, a balloon glow, food trucks, car show, motorcycle rally, and more. Event is from 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. Free admission, free parking.
