On Saturday, November 5th, the Ocean Medical Center Association is holding the 2nd Annual "Jogging for John" 5K Walk/Run and Kids' One-Mile Fun Run in loving memory of John J. Dooros. The event will take place at the Brick Township Reservoir. John was a beloved family man, friend, Vietnam veteran, Brick Township educator for over 37 years, and a lifetime resident at the Jersey Shore. In 2011, he lost his long and courageous battle with lung cancer. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the oncology services at Ocean Medical Center (OMC). OMC is the hospital where John locally received his oncology service as well as hospice care.

***The race is at the Brick Reservoir. However, due to limited parking please park at the Trinity Church. The registration tables will be located in the church parking lot. Below is the Trinity Church address***

Pre-registration for 5K: $25 + online processing fee 

Day of the Race- $30 CASH ONLY 

Pre-registration for the Kids' 1-Mile Fun-Run (Up to Age 10): $10 + online processing fee

Day of the Race Kids' 1-Mile Fun Run- $15 CASH ONLY

Time: November 5 (RAIN OR SHINE)

Registration will begin at 7:30 AM, 5K starts at 9 AM and Kids' Fun Run starts at 10:30 AM

Refreshments and Prizes will be offered!!
