Mother Nature has done all the work on this one and we definitely don't need to add any additional obstacles. A challenging 1/2 marathon course leads you thru San Tan Regional Park, Malpais wash, barreling down Dynamite and up and over Goldmine, while the 7k course gives you a glimpse of everything the Sonoran Desert has to offer. The event also includes a huge post-race breakfast spread and post-race festivities complete with awards and raffles.

Event details and schedule

14 Mile COURSE INFO:  Start time:  8:00 am    Route:  Single clockwise loop course.   San Tan to Malpais and back to San Tan.  Descend down Dynamite after you reach the top but then start your climbing with a quick downhill to the finish line.  4 aid stations.

8K COURSE INFO:  Start time:  8:30 am   Route: Also a single clockwise loop encompassing the Hedgehog, San Tan, and Moonlight trails.  One aid station. 

COURSES CLOSES:  11:00 am

We recommend that you arrive 1 hour before start of event to allow adequate time for parking, packet pickup, and warmup.
