Race Against Homelessness...

Thank you for supporting the Race Against Homelessness. We look forward to seeing you at MAIN BEACH on November 5th!

Meet us on the SAND at Main Beach Park in Fernandina Beach for the 6th Annual RACE AGAINST HOMELESSNESS beach run. 5K run and Sandbag Runs will all start at 9:00AM. 1Mile FunRun starts at 9:05AM.

Race distances include 5k, One Mile Run/Walk, and a 1Mile or 5K Sandbag Run sponsored by Sandbox Athletics.

This is not a chip timed race, for more information contact the Race Administrator.

Early-Bird and General Registration will get a  t-shirt in their race packet.

All proceeds from the event (formerly Women of Power 5K) benefit Cedar Haven Transitional House for women, located in Fernandina Beach. Cedar Haven is fighting homelessness in our local community by assisting at-risk women in their transition to self-sufficient living by providing temporary full-time housing, counseling & mentoring services as well as life skills training and job placement assistance.
