2nd Annual Rivers Shivers/Ansley Atlanta 5K and Fun Run...

Come out and support the 2nd Annual Rivers Shivers/Ansley Atlanta 5K and Fun Run on October 29th.  All race proceeds benefit the students through the E Rivers PTA. 

The 5K race will start from the E Rivers field at 8 AM.  The route will proceed along scenic Peachtree Battle Ave. and through the historic neighborhood that houses our school.  The race will end on the E Rivers track. 

Awards will be given in the following catergories. 

• First place overall Male and Female
• Winner for the following age groups:
• 8 and under Male and Female
• 9/10 Male and Female
• 11/12 Male and Female
• 13-19 Male and Female
• 20-29 Male and Female
• 30-39 Male and Female
• 40-49 Male and Female
• >50 Male and Female

The parking lot will be open until 7:30AM

Water will be at the start, finish, and at the 1.5 mile mark.

Race fee is $30 until 10/11 and will go up to $40 on 10/12. Online registration ends Thursday, October 27th at midnight. Race day registration is $45 and will be available from 7:00-7:30am at the start line. T-Shirt size not guaranteed on race day registration.

Stollers welcome.  No pets are permitted on the course or E. Rivers field.

Event details and schedule

What you need to know. 

• Race day check-in and same day registration will open at 7:00 AM and close at 7:30 AM on the E Rivers field.
• Parking will be available on the north side of Peachtree Battle Ave and in the E Rivers parking lot until 7:30AM.  The race will begin at 8am on the E Rivers Track. 
• Bring your registration confirmation in order to receive your race number.
• If you register prior to race day, you can pick up your race packet on Friday, October 28th at E. Rivers Elementary School from 4:30pm-6:30pm in the school parking lot.
• Online registration ends Thursday, October 27th at midnight. Race day registration is $45 and will be available from 7:00-7:30am at the start line.
