Join Tri To Finish and Team One Credit Union in presenting the 6th annual Cinco K “Day of The Dead” 5K race in Downtown Saginaw.  TriToFinish is excited to be back with the established Cinco K series of races highlighting Hispanic culture in the Great Lakes Bay Region!

This year’s race will take place on Dia De Los Muertos proper – Wednesday, November 2nd at 5PM – and will be a cultural experience with displays inside the Anderson Enrichment center for you and your family to learn more about this Mexican Holiday. Face painting is encouraged and there will be awards given out to the best costume for those that would like to break out the Halloween costume one more time!

Event details and schedule

Course Description

The route will have participants running counter-clockwise around Ojibway Island before heading north along the beautiful riverfront pathway. There will be a turnaround after passing MCVI with participants finishing near the Ojibway Island entrance.  The course is flat and scenic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring a stroller or baby jogger?

Yes.  We ask that strollers remain to the rear of the field when starting the race and that anyone running use a baby jogger designed for running activity.  We also ask that participants with strollers or joggers yield to runners who are competing as needed.

Can I bring my dog to this race?

Bringing dogs to races is discouraged.  But if your canine is a regular “runner” and is good around people then we will not forbid participation.  Please be aware that owners are responsible for the actions of their pets!

Will there be an aid/water station on the course?

Yes.  There will be a single aid station on the out and back course that can be accessed twice by participants.  Water and sports drink will be provided.

Can I walk instead of run?

Absolutely.  Please be aware that there will NOT be separate timing for a walking event.  Participants are encouraged to run AND walk as much as they’d like to complete their race.

Are there age group awards for this race?

Unfortunately, no.  Results will be broken down by age group for timing and sanctioning purposes, but there will be no awards provided for age groups.

Refund Policy

We completely understand that plans change and runners will sometimes be unable to compete in an event they've signed up for.  Unfortunately, refunds will not be provided for any event unless the event is cancelled for some reason.

Should a runner have an injury or other medical issue keeping them from competing in an event they've registered for then we would be happy to transfer their registration to a similar event up to and including the same event the following season with a written explanation of injury from a physician.

Transferring registrations to other runners is NOT allowed.
