Description

Special Olympics New Hampshire invites runners and bicyclists to participate in the 3rd Annual Rail Trail Rally event being held on Saturday October 1st along the beautiful Northern Rail Trail in Andover, NH!

The Rail Trail Rally will be an all-inclusive event featuring a variety of running or bicycling events and a family fun ride and festival all rolled into one!  This fast and flat course will be a great event to test your personal best time!

This event is designed to be welcoming for people of all ages and abilities from the most seasoned runners and cyclists to the most novice with 5K and 1.5 mile running events and a 20 mile riding event. All of the races start and finish at Proctor Academy and travel the restored Northern Rail Trail in the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region.  Awards will be given out to the top three male and female finishers in each running and biking division.

Families can join in the fun during a 4.5 mile family ride beginning at the Highland Lake Inn and traveling the Northern Rail Trail to Proctor Academy's Carr Field.

In addition, unique awards categories are being offered to promote inclusion in community fitness activities, including Special Olympics and Unified team awards categories.

This Law Enforcement Torch Run event will help cover assessment costs for first year Special Olympics New Hampshire athletes.
