The 1st Annual 5K Zombie Fun Run is a race that is sure to get your heart racing. You will be running through the historic downtown Alba. It's a cool October day in East Texas, the weather is just right for running. 5K, not to bad of a fun run, and the course is a breeze. Sounds easy enough, right? It is. Except there will be mobs of zombies featuring professional special effects around every corner waiting... on you! Can you survive until the end? Come and find out! All proceeds directly benefit our community, and the event is sponsored by the Alba Economic Development Corporation. 

Event details and schedule

Runners will begin the course through the land of the living dead at 3pm on Saturday, October the 29th. The course will begin in downtown Alba on the square and proceed down Quitman street and then back to the downtown area. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the event. And, please be prepared for a fun, eventful, bone chilling 5K run!
