Taste of Annandale 5k

• Taste of Annandale 5k:- Run 3.1 Miles

The second annual Taste of Annandale, Oct. 1, 2016, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., along Tom Davis Drive, showcases local restaurants and celebrates Annandale’s diversity. The event features a variety of cuisines, a 5K race, live entertainment, a chili cook-off, a children’s corner, and more. Admission is free and revenue generated by the event will benefit a fund which will support youth-led projects in Annandale. The day starts out at 8am with the 5k race at Annandale United Methodist Church, 6935 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA 22003.

The course begins and ends in the Annandale United Methodist Parking lot. It travels .5 miles eastbound Columbia Pike and enters Mason District Park. The majority of this race will be run throughout the park paths making it a true off road cross country course. The paths are rocky and uneven in sections. The course will drop back off onto Columbia Pike and will travel back .5 miles to the finish line in Annandale United Methodist parking lot.
