Sports Fan 5k ~ Results...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Sports Fan 5k is an out and back route, over the Clearwater Memorial Causeway, with spectacular views of Clearwater and it’s  #1 beach.  This is a chip timed event with a USATF certified course.

The 5k road race is for sports fans of all kinds, benefitting Clearwater for Youth.  100% of proceeds go to Clearwater for Youth.

 The Clearwater For Youth mission is to help ensure “no child is turned away” due to financial concerns and to elevate youth sports in our community and beyond by offering support through scholarships and grants to constructive sports programs where children from all levels of society can play together and learn together.

Online registration ends Tuesday, Nov. 9.   You can register onsite at the packet pick up location, Abe's Place (1250 South Missouri Ave Clearwater, FL 33756) or the day of event. Price will increase for onsite registration.

Event details and schedule

Location-Coachman Park, 301 Drew St, Clearwater, Fl

Day of-Race starts at 8am.  Day of registration and packet pick up will start at 6am and end at 7:30.  Be sure to have your photo ID if you are picking up your packet or registering.

Route-Race starts and finishes at Coachman Park.  This is an out and back over the Clearwater Memorial Causeway.  There will be one water station on the route. 

Parking-There is limited parking next to the park, but there are several free parking garages within 3 blocks.  Click here for a parking map.

Attire- Show us your team spirit!  We want to see your team colors, jerseys, hats, face paint?  Race bibs are required for all runners.

Post Race-in the park we will have music, food and FREE beer or Soda for participants (bib ticket required, must be 21+ with ID to redeem beer).

Packet pick-up- Pre-race day pick up at Abe's Place, (1250 South Missouri Ave
Clearwater, FL 33756) on Thursday (11/10) or Friday (11/11) from 4-8pm.   If you are picking up more then your own packet, a written letter from the participant that is not present, will be required stating they are allowing you to pick it up.

Other Information: There will be no bag/gear check.  Stroller friendly.
